2017 GREEF AWARD Winner

                                        Molly McConnell

Molly McConnell attended the Oran R-III School District for all thirteen years of her pre-collegiate career and graduated in 2014 with honors.  Molly knew from a very early age that teaching was her passion.  She observed and job shadowed many teachers throughout her four years of high school.  It didn't take her long to realize that a high school classroom is where she belonged.  Molly says, "I had one of the most outstanding high school English teachers in Southeast Missouri.  Her passion for the subject combined with her contagious enthusiasm, influenced me to become a high school English teacher."  Molly's love for teaching others has pushed her to maintain a 4.0 cumulative grade point average throughout her college career.  She is an active member of the Southeast Missouri English Teachers Association (SMETA).  Molly did her student teaching semester while teaching full-time at Advance R-IV High School where she is in her second year of teaching high school ELA.

Congratulations Molly! We are proud of you and your accomplishments.
